Philippe de Vitry

Philippe de Vitry (1291‐1361) war ein französischer Komponist und Musiktheoretiker des Mittelalters. Er gilt als zentraler Vertreter der Ars nova.

Fun Fact: Vitry war auch Diplomat und Bischof.
